Summary

The Light Downloader Integration extension sends the details of a download you choose to capture only to the Light Downloader app on your own computer (http://127.0.0.1). It does not send any data to the developer, to Beliaja.id, or to any other remote server. It does not track you and contains no analytics.

Who we are

The Light Downloader desktop app for Windows and its companion browser extension, Light Downloader Integration, for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, are distributed through Beliaja.id (https://beliaja.id). This policy covers the browser extension.

What the extension accesses

For a download you choose to capture, either by starting it in the browser while automatic capture is on or by using the right-click menu, the extension reads:

  • the download URL;
  • the originating site's cookies for that URL;
  • the page referrer and the browser user-agent.

How it is used

This information is sent only to the Light Downloader desktop application running on your own computer, over a local loopback connection (http://127.0.0.1). It is used solely to perform the download you requested, for example so that a file behind your login can be downloaded with your existing session.

What the extension does not do

  • It does not send any data to the developer, to Beliaja.id, or to any third-party or remote server.
  • It does not track your browsing, read or modify page content, inject scripts, or build any profile.
  • It stores nothing except a single on/off preference (whether automatic capture is enabled) in the browser's local extension storage.
  • It contains no analytics and no remote or dynamically evaluated code.
  • It does not sell, share, or transfer your data, and does not use it for any purpose unrelated to performing your download.

Data storage and retention

The extension itself keeps no download history. Captured downloads are handed to the desktop app, which keeps your download list and settings locally on your computer in %AppData%\LightDownloader. That data never leaves your computer through the extension, and you can delete it at any time by removing the downloads in the app or uninstalling the app.

Permissions

The extension requests downloads, cookies, contextMenus, storage, and host access to all URLs. Each permission and why it is needed is explained on the extension support page.

Chrome Web Store User Data Policy

The use of information received by Light Downloader Integration adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the extension's single purpose: handing downloads you start in the browser to the Light Downloader desktop app.

Your control

Turn automatic capture off at any time from the extension popup, or remove the extension from your browser. When the desktop app is not running, nothing is captured and downloads proceed normally in the browser.

Donations

The extension and the app do not process payments. Optional donations are made separately on beliaja.id and are covered by the Beliaja.id privacy policy (in Indonesian).

Changes to this policy

If the extension's data handling changes, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change.

Data yang dibaca ekstensi

Untuk unduhan yang Anda pilih untuk ditangkap, baik yang Anda mulai di browser saat penangkapan otomatis aktif maupun lewat menu klik kanan, ekstensi membaca alamat (URL) unduhan, cookie situs asal untuk alamat itu, referrer halaman, dan user-agent browser.

Cara data dipakai

Data tersebut hanya dikirim ke aplikasi Light Downloader yang berjalan di komputer Anda melalui koneksi lokal (http://127.0.0.1), semata-mata untuk menjalankan unduhan yang Anda minta, misalnya agar berkas yang membutuhkan login tetap bisa diunduh dengan sesi Anda.

Yang tidak pernah dilakukan ekstensi

  • Tidak mengirim data ke pengembang, ke Beliaja.id, maupun ke server pihak ketiga mana pun.
  • Tidak melacak penjelajahan, tidak membaca atau mengubah isi halaman, tidak menyisipkan skrip, dan tidak membuat profil apa pun.
  • Tidak menyimpan apa pun selain satu pengaturan nyala/mati penangkapan otomatis di penyimpanan lokal ekstensi.
  • Tidak memuat analitik maupun kode jarak jauh.
  • Tidak menjual, membagikan, atau memindahkan data Anda.

Penyimpanan data

Ekstensi tidak menyimpan riwayat unduhan. Daftar unduhan dan pengaturan disimpan oleh aplikasi desktop di komputer Anda sendiri (%AppData%\LightDownloader) dan bisa Anda hapus kapan saja.

Kendali Anda

Matikan penangkapan otomatis kapan saja dari popup ekstensi, atau hapus ekstensinya. Saat aplikasi desktop tidak berjalan, tidak ada yang ditangkap dan browser mengunduh seperti biasa.

Donasi

Ekstensi dan aplikasi tidak memproses pembayaran. Donasi sukarela dilakukan terpisah di beliaja.id dan tunduk pada Kebijakan Privasi Beliaja.id.
